Exhibit
Resources Midwest is one of the largest tradeshow exhibit/exhibit
graphics providers in the state of Iowa. We have grown from
humble beginnings to a top national Featherlite® Exhibit
distributor. We produce exhibits in all sizes, from tabletop
portable displays, to large custom displays. The exhibits,
exhibit graphics, design, rentals, storage and |
| project management services are commodities
we provide for customers. Our
product is the knowledge, skill and joyful approach we bring
to the workplace. Our commodities are not unique. They can
be found elsewhere. Our enthusiasm for what we do shows and
our clients appreciate it. |
Exhibit
Resources Midwest started out as CompuSign in a home in
1984. Initially started as a computer vinyl graphics business,
primarily wholesale. It has grown to a company employing 7
people.
Featherlite® Exhibits were introduced into Iowa in 1987,
when Bob Ensley was selling custom displays for Freeman Exhibit
Company. After repeated requests from customers for something
lightweight and portable, Freeman decided the best solution
was to outsource this style of booth rather than try to build
it in house.
In 1990 Freeman Exhibit closed and the door opened for CompuSign
to pick up the brand in Iowa. Bob Ensley and his wife, Annette
Ensley, sold the exhibits from their home until they opened
the showroom in 1996. In 1995 they changed the name from CompuSign
to
Exhibit Resources Midwest a division of CompuSign,
Inc. The name change reflected the majority of their work,
and how they viewed themselves in the marketplace.

In the years since the opening of the showroom and the addition
of sales, project management and design positions, Exhibit
Resources Midwest has grown from a mid level distributor with
Featherlite® to being the fastest growing distributor
(1999) and number five in the nation (2000). |
